You know, I've been following these forums for a long time now, and I've seen probably hundreds of mockups, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone successfully predict what a product was going to look like.

It would look much better without the white on the bottom.

Gotta say I'd really like the unified look though. Not being able to see the line where the screen ends is nice.

Oh you'll see a line where the screen ends first time you drop it. :) It looks cool but fragile, unless the screen is Lexan, then we're good.

I'm pretty sure there were many people saying the 3gs was going to be quite identical to the 3g, and I can predict the 4th gen will be similar as well, I just hope they don't go for OLED, especially a thinner 3.7", I'm afraid the keyboard would suck in portrait mode.. The external dimensions and the profile would be close to the 3g/s IMO

I thought it was clear that I was talking in the context of mockups, and I therefore wasn't counting products that look the same as the previous generation. Obviously, Apple updates products without changing the physical appearance all the time, and only a moron would bother to make a mockup of a product that looked identical to the current generation.

I'm not an artist myself but I recall people linking a 3g image to the ones wondering how the next model would look like.. mockups are curious but often way off and out of dreamland..
