Hi

I recently got a new MacBook Pro, I've started to get some messages in the upper right corner saying "being blogged" and some different things, think they are song titles.
Do anybody know what it is?

Do you have music playing? A google search of "being blogged" indicates it's a song, as you have mentioned. iTunes will notify you of the new song playing in the notification center. Likely what you are seeing.

What software is running when that occurs? Sounds like some sort of notification.

Are the notifications native notifications or do they look generated from a third-party? (Screenshot?)

Do you see the notifications in your Notification Center?

iTunes per default uses notifications when it plays new songs. You can control the notification behavior from the System Peeferences/Notification pane
