Anyone know where to get one in the UK? or a site that ships to the UK? Cannot find this thing anywhere other than the US Apple Store.

I can get the Kanex XD but have read unfavourable things about the set up being fiddly regarding wires being connected in a certain order. If anyone has the Kanex, how is it? Do you need to reconnect wires each time you turn on your console?

The Belkin one only supports 720p to the iMac! There are boxes around that support 1080p

The Belkin will support 1080p but at the moment the limiting factor is the iMac itself. It won't accept 1080p input unless Apple update the firmware. I'm guessing the other devices just upconvert?

The iMac only accepts 720p and 1440p.

The Atlona AT-HD620 outputs 1080p on the imac as it has a built in scaler which scales to image to 2560 : 1440 resolution. This is a available from a uk website futureshop.co.uk but is almost £300, which is ridiculous in my book.

Ive found a US website hdwise.com who are prepared to ship the AT-HD620 at a more competitive rate, might buy it in the next few weeks...

I got the Dr Bott in the UK and have no problems at all with it, works great with my PS3 and Xbox 360 and even thou its "only" using 720p the image quality is superb. Unless you stick your nose virtually on the screen the games look pretty much the same as they did on my Dell 2709w @ 1080p.

I ended up getting the Dr Bott. It works well but i was not happy with the picture. Since it just doubles the size of the pixels it looks a bit.....well.....pixelly!!! Fine if you sit back a bit but i sit up close. Shame because the black levels and colour were much better than my tv. I do wonder how it would look at 1080p if Apple released an update?

Can I use the Belkin AV360 to connect my Win PC to use a 2010 iMac as an external monitor?

yup but only at 720p! so it will look aweful on the imac screen! You are best to get a mini display port gfx card for your pc!

I had to get a friend to buy mine and ship it from the US should turn up today or tomorrow. But it is costing me a ton so far: belkin av360 $150, shipping to the UK $36, some random tax $12 and bet there is going to be some nice import tax waiting for me. For that price I could of got a new xbox but I need the space so I went for it. I do hope it's worth it.

Well I'm a uni student as of in 2 weeks and don't have the space for my 27" iMac and my 26" monitor I run my 360 off ATM, so I'm saying I don't have space for two big screen. Sorry I didn't make that clear In my post.

I was confused because u mentioned a new xbox! and I wondered how a new xbox would take up more space or whatever! :p
