Belkin Sleeve vs. InCase Neoprene Sleeve vs. Incase Slim Sleeve

Anyone compare the three side by side? Which has the best "protection" for a sleeve? I know its not going to be too cushy, however, I'm looking for to place my Air in my backpack. Its currently in a mail envelope with lined bubbles. I just saw the belkin sleeve in person at Frys and its was okay, but I've heard great things about the incase neoprene sleeve for the air. Belkin is cheaper and on ebay its 16.00 but looking for opinions from those who have held both at the same time.

Edit: I also looked an noticed the slim sleeve by incase. The incase neopreen states it has 3mm of protection, but not on the slim sleeve? Guessing its slimmer?

it works perfect for my air. i wanted more protection than the slim sleeve provided, and this suits my needs well.

one caveat however, when the air is inside there is still room to spare and so i also include a thin foam pad insert (1/4 inch thick) next to the computer for added cushioning and protection.

That looks like the belkin one, but the one you linked is incase. Did you use the cushioning pad that came with the sleeve? I was thinking about using the foam if I bought the belkin one when I was checking it out at frys.

they must look similar then. i have the in case one.

i got the foam with some other purchase long ago, but i suppose any piece would suffice.

also, it comes in pink as well if that floats your boat.

I have the Incase Neoprene sleeve for my MacBook Air. It offers some basic protection in my backpack (I have a North Face backpack with a thinly-padded laptop section against the back panel) and I don't worry about it getting scratched or anything. I don't think it offers a lot of drop protection at all, and I'm tempted to get a Tom Bihn Brain Cell next to remedy this...
