I picked up 2 of these bad boys from my local Target for $12.99 each. For the price, it's a steal, and they come with 20w USB-C bricks, so I really can't go wrong.

Or can I? They get my phone HOT. Hotter than my magsafe charger, and they get it hot, quicker, too. But it also cools off quicker, making me think that the heat isn't internal to the battery, but somehow coming from the charger and radiating to the phone case. I was hoping that with the slower 7.5w charging, they would actually help with battery longevity, not heat it up and make the battery degrade faster.

Had anyone used these, or know how they effect battery long term?
