I went to Bell Mobility this morning since they are releasing the iPhone on their network.

I am in a 3 year contract so I went there telling myself "Oh well, I will have to buy it full price since they will probably wont let me have it at discount price. But at least I'll be able to keep my current plan and just add a data plan of my choice"...

Well no . Even if I paid the phone 700$ I would nee to take one of their crappy plan at 100$+

I can't believe their "Fun 20 for iPhone" bundle only comes with 250 outgoing text messages, visual voice mail and call display for $20 a month. Not to mention the basic iPhone plans come with no text messaging plan as well and only a maximum of 2GB of data. Roger's plan still suck, but are better.

Rogers network is also better (because it has Edge and 3G). That pretty much ends all considerations of ever switching to Bellus for me.

The entire Bell Telus Network is 3G HSPA now, so as long as it can handle the load it will provide far better coverage. Rogers only has 3G in the major centers.

well look at their data speeds@!
MUCH BETTTER!!!

I'll wait to judge the benefits/cons of the Bellus iPhones...

It's to early to judge what the real speeds will be like considering they just released their network today and there is only one device that they currently have that is using this new network...

i have gotten nothing over 2mbps on rogers 3.5g network!!!
WHAT A JOKE!!!

Bell's network seems to be running smoothly! wonder what Telus will bring to the table.

Man so odd going to the apple website and clicking iphone, and then when you click where to buy, buy the beginning of the day tomorrow you will have 5 choices (rogers, fido, telus, bell, apple store)

WOWAWHEYWOW!

Talk about wanting to reach everyone!

If you are in Alberta you aren't on their 3.5G network yet. They haven't upgraded it to HSPA+ yet.

Hopefully telus's plans tomorrow are far more impressive then Bell's. Cause wow do Bell's ever suck.

rogers already has a 3.5g network rolled out in alberta
hspa+ isn't out in edmonton, but in calgary only for alberta

In another North American first the Rogers network will be evolving from 3.5G (up to 7.2 Mbps) to HSPA+ (up to 21 Mbps)1. Roll-out is ongoing beginning with Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto Ottawa and Montreal in September. Check back for updates on our progress in rolling out HSPA+ from coast-to-coast.

What I was saying is I highly doubt it will be able to handle the load.
