I think I read on AppleInsider that the Apple staff said they were running the normal HDD.
And I think due to the lack of availability there is no benchmarks just yet.

Slip is correct...only regular hard drive models are on display. They didn't have any stats to offer on the SSD models, and we won't get benchmarks until someone actually gets their hands on one.
Good find. In general, SSD's excel in random access and read but fall behind in write's.
So in real terms, booting up and loading apps will be a lot faster but copying a 4GB file will be slower than a standard HDD
