my benq pd3220u monitor is detecting the wrong resolution in Big Sur all of a sudden? Sometimes it goes to the right one but most of the time its wrong. Any idea how to fix this

I found a forum on the Apple website and someone found a workaround. If you go to the monitors display settings, find the DisplayPort options change it to 1.1. It’s not a fix by any means but it’s a workaround until Apple fixes it.

I really have no idea. I would hope so since I found quite a few people with the same issue. Seems like it's a lot of people with BenQ monitors. I myself have 2 BenQ Monitors and change the setting on only one monitor to DisplayPort 1.1 and it made me have 4k resolution again on both monitors.

"Known issue" or not, if Dozer's suggestion works, that's "the solution"... :apple:
