BenQ recently released a 28 inch 3:2 4K monitor geared towards programmers and people who work with text. There aren't many reviews yet, so I was wondering if anyone is using this monitor. One user review did state that text is exceptionally crisp and sharp on Windows but not so much on Mac. I am trying to confirm if that is really true...

Seems to be the same panel as in the Huawei Mateview 28" 3:2:

BenQ RD280U:

However, the listed brightness for the Huawei is higher. The BenQ advertises a special anti-glare coating.

There is a thread about the Huawei monitor here: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...eis-new-4-5k-3-2-monitor-imac-killer.2298993/

Another option for programmers would be the LG Dualup 28": https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-28mq780-b-dualup-monitor

I think all of these monitors work better with 3rd party software like BetterDisplay

Thanks! I am actually using 3 Huawei Mateview 28" monitors right now. So the BenQ would not be much of an upgrade sine they are using the same panel. I hope Apple will release a 5K/6K monitor with 16:10 or 3:2 aspect ratio.
