So i have a Usb ipod cable and the metal part that you plug into your ipod/iphones was a little bent. It still worked and detected it on the computer all the time, but i noticed that when i plugged my ipod it sometimes gave me an error. it was a windows error not itunes...

i am now using a different USb cable and seeing if that error pops up. Im just curious though. if my songs transfered and itunes detected my ipod and i only got that error from windows, would any songs i transfered lose quality or be corrupt if i transfered them with a usb cable that is a little bent...no wires are sticking out its just a little crooked at the end...

thanks hope i didn't confuse anyone.

ok even with the new wire it still says that error message fromwindows. I have chosen continue w/o fixing, because im scared hitting the fix button will format my ipod and i have my ipod on manual. and before anyone asks yes i do have music backed up, but i dont have all of it on my ipod, so it would be a pain to see which is on my ipod and vice versa.

seeing that the new wire gives me same message im sure that using the one that is a little bent is fine, because it does the same thing, so techincally this thread is a waste now lol thanks though!
