Quality."best" on what measure? Quality, price, response speed, etc.
That's UHD. I am looking for native 2K.
May I ask why you insist on having a 2.5K resolution instead of a 4K? IMO the resolution is part of the quality. That's UHD. I am looking for native 2K.

I think scaling in macOS is wonderful - you get to keep the native panel resolution whilst having the low-resolution-scale effect. It's the same feeling when you transfer from iPhone 3GS to iPhone 4, where the font and logo are the same size, only clearer.Because I don't want scaling.
That's great, but it affects the performance of certain things. Not going to get into all that. If you're just browsing the web I am sure it's fantastic!I think scaling in macOS is wonderful - you get to keep the native panel resolution whilst having the low-resolution-scale effect. What you're paying for, is not having to worry that you could have bought something better. Not having to worry if the capabilities of the equipment are going to limit what you can achieve - in other words, if there's a screwup, it's on you.I’m definitely going to look into EIZO. Very expensive stuff. Are they really worth their price?

You're also paying, on the high end models, for automatic built-in calibration, that deploys a colour sensor from the bezel, and measures and adjusts the display's colour on its own.
