I see many choices on Amazon esp LG models. Any recommendations 500 or less? I don't play games mainly photos, video, work etc.

Thanks

Thanks. I see UK/UL/UN versions of the LG. Whats the differences? Also are HDR10 and HDR 400 the same? Will the M1 support both?

UK = 2017
UL = 2018
UN = 2020

HDR10 == HDR400. But this isn't "true" HDR in my opinion. True HDR is achieved with Mini-LED displays (Pro XDR, Dell UP3221Q...) since the local dimming zones allow for higher contrasts. This is just marketing on standard LED displays.

All are mainly the same, but I'd take the UN since it's the newest model.

Dell has a better warranty, build quality and ergonomics, but has higher price tag.

See https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/mac-mini-m1-compatible-monitor-list.2282729/ for compatibility.

Great. Thanks. Maybe I'll do the UN. Will it be ok to use just HDMI or do I have to use usb-C? I have the new apple multi av adapter.
