I’ve been using PdfExpert by READDLE and I enjoy it but it’s expensive. I’m sure there are numerous apps that can get the job done and am wondering if anyone can help.

My main goal is to edit pdfs.

Pages is cumbersome fyi.

I just saw that there was a special offer late last year where the Mac app was offered at $30. That is an insane deal considering currently it’s at $139.

It's on sale on Stacksocial from time to time. Just wait for the next sale. :)
Thank you. I’m dying to buy it and may even do their $7 monthly fee for now cause it does provide a lot of value; but seeing the app on sale for $30 bucks just a few months ago as opposed to $130 and it’s hard to pay $100 premium just to have it now.

I can stave off it if I find other PDF editing apps that can get the job done in the meantime.

But I’m very impressed by the Readdle company considering I also use Documents everyday.

It might be worth trying to just write them… I often got discounts by just writing their support and sometimes they tell you when the next sale is coming.
Just tell them that you can’t afford the amount right now but you very much like their product.
You could offer to write a detailed review in exchange. devs are often very eager to help out and asking doesn’t cost anything. ;-)
