I think Infuse(paid pro) is the best right now,
VLC is not updated for the Pro, and won't play certain audio any more.
I've always used AV Player HD for files transferred locally and Air Video HD for streaming over my network to iPad. Not sure if either has been "updated" for Pro if that's really necessary.
May have to give infuse a try since AV Player HD dropped DTS a while back. Given it's a licensing issue, I'm wondering if infuse has gotten clearance or if its a matter of time until they pull it as well. I'm thinking with a $10 IAP to get DTS, they may have paid for a license?
Infuse is not optimized yet. But I wonder what the 'upgrade cost' will be for Pro users.
nPlayer. It is already optimized for the iPad Pro, and it also supports DTS and AC3, albeit with in-app purchase (this is unavoidable due to licensing costs).
So nPlayer is optimized for iPad Pro? Can you confirm it before I buy it? The official site mention nothing about it.nPlayer. It is already optimized for the iPad Pro, and it also supports DTS and AC3, albeit with in-app purchase (this is unavoidable due to licensing costs).

Hold your horses. Let me go grab my iPad Pro. I had been using nPlayer on my Air 2 and it was the best by a MILE.
Be back in a few...
I disagree.
Infuse Pro is best by a mile!
No, it's not. It doesn't support iPad Pro native res. It's immediately ruled out. Once it does with (probably) version 4.0, then we can talk, mmk?
No.
nPlayer doesn't support it either.
