I want this to be a thread of knowledge sharing.

It's tough finding those apps that top their category through aesthetic perfection and core functionality. Many times, the gold mine apps are obscured by the lousy, the ugly and the dysfunctional. Help us separate the repulsive from the omnipotent! Show us which apps are the ones worth having!

Here are a few I can recommend...
Movies Now, Dark Nebula, Reflexion, Tipulator, Classics, Darkness, Orba, Lexic and others I can't recall.

I specifically want to know of good Inventory Tracker and Budget Manager apps (Pennies is not functional, and iOwn is not aesthetically pleasing).

Share away!

In the games category, I find Call of Duty Zombies great, but a bit pricy. This has nothing to do with the thread, but your signature is exactly what you were told not to do. You should probably change it from your devices sepperated by bullets, to something like mine seperated by commas in straight lines.

[app]Pocket Informant[/app]
[app]Awesome Note[/app]
[app]Outliner[/app]
[app]Instapaper[/app]
[app]Instaviz[/app]

My recommendation for a budget app goes to [app]Active Money Pro[/app].
