hi, curious to know. name your best ''back to school'' application that you have purchased going back to college or that you are showing your kids to make them study more
Nursing students may find the Davis Drug Guide app to be invaluable. I use it all the time. It makes life so much easier not having to carry around a drug guide and not having to index every drug. Down side: it's $50...but worth every bit of it.
Aside from that, I find that the native apps are very useful. I use Calendar as my organizer, Calculator to do dosage calculations, Voice Recorder to record lectures, Notes to jot down quick messages from the teacher, Mail to forward my school email to my G-Mail account, Clock to make sure I'm not late and to wake me up during my power naps, and oh yea, I can't forget my TomTom app to show me the way to get to school (since it's a two hours drive, no joke)...and iPod to help with the drive, lol.
I just launched Davis and it found vicodin after only typing in "vico." I like Davis, because it tells you everything you need for your practice. It presents the information just like the book does. It has everything from dosing, chemical and therapeutic actions, drug and Y-site compatibility, and just about everything you can think of. One down side is that you can't actually select two or more drugs to see if they're compatible with each other (similar to what epocrates does)...but then again, I've never had to do that. I've only ever had to check on two drugs at a time and each drug lists what they aren't compatible with anyway. As for how it compares with lexi-complete...I don't know if a $50 subscription app can even compare with a $300 app. I would've gotten lexi-complete, but I don't know about renewing that subscription for another $300/yr though as it says in the app description.anwsered my own question.. tried to search simple drug vicodin or hydrocodone and davis drug guide came up with zero results while as lexi-complete comes up with 6 types.![]()

I just bought iHomework. iStudiez Pro looks good as well, I may try that out too if the price drops at all.
Things, iProcastinate, and SchoolHouse are the apps I use. That and I have a calendar above my computer that shows my assignments.
Great app... i love using this. Really makes it easy to see what i have due in which classes. Hopefully he will get the desktop app to sync with the iPhone app here soon.
