Hi guys, I am about to buy my first Apple Watch, Jet Black Series 10, and I have a doubt about the band.
My favorite in purely aesthetic terms is the Textile Magnetic Link, I think the one in the much criticized Fine Woven. I also tried it in the Store.
But I was wondering in terms of comfort which one you recommend given your years of experience with Apple Watch.
I've seen a few videos on YouTube and no one mentions the Magnetic Link.
It seems to me that the Sport Loop goes more with it.
What do you recommend?

I specify that unfortunately right now I can't do much sports, so everyday use: office, walking, dinners out. I will go on a total black line even with iPhone and Airpods.

Thank you and sorry for the not perfect English.

Edit: I have read that the Magnetic Link according to many people does not fit well and needs to be re-adjust it throughout the day.

If you workout at all, I don't think there is a better band than the Nike Sport Band. All of the extra holes provide excellent breathability. I have not tried the Sport Loop but that's highly regarded too.

If not working out, then it's really a question of taste. There isn't really a best, it's personal preference. I use an Ultra and I like to use a titanium band (non-Apple) when not working out.

I also like the trail loop. That's good enough for working out and dries quickly, but slightly less casual than the Nike Sport Band.

Sport Loop (or Trail Loop) is the most comfortable band for me, and all I use now. It's infinitely adjustable so you're not limited to the holes in other watch bands, where one may be slightly too loose and the next slightly too tight - you can adjust it exactly where you want it. There's also some stretch to it, which allows it to accommodate normal changes in wrist circumference throughout the day. The material itself is comfortable, so you barely even notice you're wearing it.

I wore the Nike Sport band for the last 6 + years… overall, it’s a great band and very adjustable.

That said, I ordered the sports loop with my jet black S10 AW and this has been by far the most comfortable band I’ve personally ever worn with my AW.

Since you mentioned you want comfort, I would recommend the Nike Sports Band and the Nike Sports Loop. Both are soft, flexible, and breath pretty well. I think the fabric version can look a little nicer than the rubber versions if looks matter to you. You can wear these Nike bands all day, and be comfortable.

Prefer the Sport Band over the Sport Loop.
The Sport band holds up better. The Sport loop due to the material when it gets wet = not so good.
Favourite overall is Ocean band

Curious, what's "not so good" about it? Because my Sport Loop just spent a lot of hours submerged in the pool and lake this summer and I didn't see any "not so good" issues with it, other than it's fabric, and fabric gets wet. And then it dries.

@gabric86 I have a magnetic link (though mine is one of the leather ones rather than the new FineWoven material). It is a very comfortable band and very secure in my experience. I don’t ever recall needing to reposition it during the day - since it has the magnetic ‘ridges’ in the strap the strap ends up with these acting a bit like teeth in a cog - the strap naturally hooks them together and this pretty much eliminates slippage.

if that is the style you prefer I am sure you will have a good experience with it.

Thank you all for the feedback, super helpful.
I'm going to stop by the store these days to try the Solo Loop, if I find the right size good, otherwise I'm going to Sport Loop. Thanks!

Thanks! Yes it seems that the Fine Woven as a magnet is less durable than the leather one, as well as wearing out more easily.
If I can still find online a leather one suitable for the Series 10 maybe I'll get it. Thanks!

Really depends on what you're using it for, but I love the Sport Loop for workouts. The sport band is great for strength training where you might not be sweating quite as much and can give it an easy rinse.
