Did anyone else order for in-store pickup on the 22nd? It looks like most of the iPhone 15 Pro Max models are still available for both shipping and in store... makes me nervous...

I would recommend that you only do in-store pickup if you're purchasing from Best Buy. I've always had issues with their delivery times for Apple releases.

Yeah, I did in-store pickup for release day. The order status is "We'll let you know when it's ready", but my confirmation e-mail does say September 22...so fingers crossed. It also looks like I'll have to manually coordinate with Verizon about the trade in since that doesn't look to be facilitated by Best Buy in the slightest.

I've honestly never had a problem with picking stuff up on launch day with Best Buy in store pickup (mainly PS5, Switch and video games), but I agree--their release day shipping hasn't been great.

On Verizon it says you have to have Unlimited Ultimate for the $1000.

Up to $1199.99 on device payment or at retail price required. New line required. Unlimited Ultimate plan required. Less $1000 trade-in/promo credit applied over 36 months; promo credit ends if eligibility requirements are no longer met. 0% APR. Trade-in conditions apply. Taxes and fees may apply.

I'm aware of that, but why is the trade in value $0 on Unlimited Plus? The estimated trade in value without plan change should be $830, but it says $0.

They've fixed it.

Sorry, I see now. I just tried it and it gave me $830 for my i3 pro. Made the payment like $4.27 or something. I didn't go through with the purchase because I already upgraded but it worked for me.

Anyone's Best Buy iPhone 15 preorders have any movement yet?
My store pickup order still says “Pre-ordered - We’ll let you know when it’s ready.” Ordered just after 6:00am PDT last Friday. Fingers crossed it’s still on track for pickup this Friday.

Yep, I edited the post just before you replied. Best Buy has fixed it.

Same here. Trying decide if I want to cancel and take my chances with ordering from Verizon on release day (for in store pickup); I've had luck with that in the past.

The only reason I'd want to cancel before Friday is just in case Best Buy doesn't quickly remove the lock on my upgrade availability and I have to spend some time going around with them and Verizon.

I have a backup order placed for pickup at my local Apple Store in case Best Buy has issues. I would prefer to go through Best Buy to get AppleCare included through my “Total” membership. Also have a ton of Best Buy rewards certificates that I used to bring the cost down, so it would also be a lot cheaper for me.
