I want to return my iPad, I just don't like it.. don't have the need for one, and after 10 days of using it, I'm just unimpressed.

Anyone know of Best Buy's return policy? As far as I know, I have 14 days, but I guess I will have to pay some sort of restocking fee...

Thanks all.

What did you not like about it?

You could probably sell it and get more $$$. Hope all goes well.

14 days, 15% restocking fee at my Best Buy. YMMV.

Some folks have posted getting more than retail on eBay and others claimed to have the restocking fee waived.

I'm gonna try to get the restocking fee wavied on the grounds of the iPad not properly holding time.. I see there that it says the fee is waived if the item is deemed defective.

I didn't "not like" the iPad, I just don't really have much of a use for it honestly.

He probably could not control his urges like an adult so he spent bucks on the ipad adding to his debt load and now he realized that he needs to return it.

Why do you think this country is in such a mess.

Lmao.. why are you so mad? I can afford it, its not so much an issue of money as it is a lack of use.

Relax man.

Democrat led congress - what else.

OP, generally speaking if you talk to the manager and tell him that its not performing to your expectations, they may waive the fee. I'm not sure the high schooler behind the counter has the authority to waive the fee.

BS.

If it was not a money issue you would not feel remorse about buying it. You wanted it, could not help it, slammed the card down and took it home, bills came in the mail and you saw 20-30K debtload and felt remorseful about your purchase. Seriously if you had no use for it why would you buy it to return it later and pay 75 bucks. Best Buy has plenty of ipads to play around with so you can figure it out before you lay down hard earned cash on one.

You don't know the OP. Its completely plausible that he or anyone decides that its not a good fit and chooses to return it. Believe it or not, there are people who are unhappy with apple products.

I am in the same boat as the op. Not the money issue. It is the lack of usage since my mobile situation change. If i am at my desk most of the time, I rather pick 24" desktop. Even though I like ipad.

Best Buy Reward Zone Silver members ($2500 in purchases annually) pay no restocking fees for any purchases. They also have their return window pushed to 45 days for any purchase. May be worth looking into your reward zone standing if you have it...
