It seems Apple Watch Ultra is at least somewhat prone to scratches on the titanium finish. I've read many accounts of this.

But the below Amazon review for Spigen Rugged Armor case for the Ultra tops it all. A plastic case meant to protect the device causes scratches. I was considering getting this case but now am very much not sure. I like the look of the rugged case though.

Will you just deal with the scratches or do you wear a case to prevent them? If you do wear a case, please share which one and your experiences of it.

AWU is a TOOL, not a piece of jewelry, scratches are part of life, some if not all can be buffed out (plenty of threads in this forum). There are also quite a few threads her re Ultra with a case ...
Never put a case nor a screen protector on any of my AWs (S0/4/7/U) and never will, but YMMV

In my younger days a wise man once told me: work hard and enjoy what you have, don’t let someone else enjoy what you’ve worked for.

There are some posts with cases on ultras. If I can’t see the watch for what it is, I would not spend the money.
This coming from a guy that wears the S5 ceramic mountain biking.
