Hey,

Sorry if this has been asked before.

Since Apple does not seem to have a silicone case for the rear of the new 2017 IPP 12.9, any suggestions? I have always liked the slim nature of the Apple cases, so I find this particularly disappointing. I have a silicone case for my new IPP 12.9, but it is less than ideal since it covers up the flash. Best I can do for now is a leather sleeve, but my ideal solution is a slim-like case for the rear that will allow me to use the Apple Smart Keyboard.

I took a peek at that slim thing from Logitech, but it's just too bulky for my taste.

Any suggestions? Hopefully more cases will be introduced soon.

Thanks in advance!

DT

I ended up going with apple silicone case for the 12.9. The camera and mic cut outs are not the same, but I hardly use those and If I really need to I can just remove the case. I do wish it wasn't full price. It should be reduced since its discontinued.

I am using the ESR case from Amazon. I did a blind purchase and I was pleasantly surprised by it when considering the price. For me it will most likely be a temporary case before Apple releases something. Even though Apple might not be the cheapest, I have never really been a fan of 3rd party offerings. This one has been an exception for what it’s worth.

I was just wondering who was charging full price for a discontinued product.

The answer seems to be: everybody.

Im hoping it goes down in price during my return period so I get it a price adjustment. Even the Apple Store has them in stock and charging full price for them.

Thanks, I ordered this one. Seems to be a decent stopgap for now.
