So Calif
After looking at trade in offers by carriers and Apple, I have come to realize that extended 24-30 month payments are a pain when it comes to getting a new phone every year.

I have 2 paid for iPhones: 11 (T Mobile) and XS Max (Verizon).

So what are the best deals I can expect for:
1. Cash price iPhone 12 / Pro - trade in or not - I can sell my phones on Swappa or eBay....
2. Apple IUP thru Citizen's One - this is more of a lease ?
3. Barclay Card Apple Rewards financing and option ?
4. Carrier subscription option of less than 12 months ?

If you have a cash, that would be the best deal.

Apple IUP is only a 'lease' if you upgrade every year. You can choose to pay the full two years and keep it.

Pretty sure that Barclay Card doesn't offer financing as Apple CC has taken that over.

Any carrier subscriptions less than 12 months will have a higher monthly payment than IUP.
