Hi Guys, im looking to get a couple of cheap iPads for a 5 and 7 year old so I can get my iPad Pro back of them lol Can anyone give me some advice of the cheapest models I could get away with getting to last a year or two? They seem to play main cat and coloring games and have zero interest in the games on Apple Arcade. Oh and needs to work on Disney+ and Youtube kids

Depending on your budget… a new 9th gen will certainly last them for several years. Or you could get a used 7th/8th gen which is probably good for a couple of years.

If you can get the 6, it's better than the 5, it supports the pencil (you can get a decent one at around $15) and it's faster. Otherwise the old iPad pro 9.7 is also worth a look

For kids, I’m a fan of the 5th gen Mini with a padded case and a little cap holder for the 1st gen Apple Pencil (it will be lost immediately without it). If they want bigger, then I agree that the 9th gen base iPad is a great buy.

Agreed, how about the 6th-gen iPad or the 9.7-inch iPad Pro?
