Can someone clarify this a little further?
So Versus will allow you to play in realtime with other opponents. Do they have to be on a iPhone/iPod Touch as well? Can they be playing on a website?
Caissa chess allows you to play by email. I dont see this in the descritption of the game. Again, does the other user/person need to be on the same kind of device/platform? Can I play my friend (not in realtime, via email) who is using his computer?
Thanks for any light that can be shed on this....

Daremo said:I just want 2.1 so I can play it again. I refuse to at the moment, because I can't stand the movement control.
Caissa Chess 2.1 is now available. Hit update in apps or grab it here.
I dont' see any mention of playing by email in the description for Caissa, though I do see a "mail" icon on the screenshot.
So, is the following possible:
-Two people have iPhones with Caissa 2.1 loaded on both.
-Person A makes a move in Caissa.
-Person B opens up thier Caissa app a few hours later, see person A's move. Person B makes his/her own move.
-Person A opens up Caissa the next day, sees the move by person B, and makes a move...
and so on. Is this possible with Caissa? Sorry if this seems like a mundane question, but this is exactly what I'm looking for. If so, I'm more than happy to spend $9.99 x2 on this app. If not, is there anything that will do what I'm looking for?

A MILLION times better playing without Drag and Drop. Thank you for adding this option.
Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5F136 Safari/525.20)
I agree it's better, but the animation is really slow. Would love to turn it off.
I personally hate tap-tap mode, but there is gotta be a choice. Democracy at work
I could easily disable animations, but that would mean another option switch in preferences. I don't want to add low level tuning to the UI experience, it will make preferences more convoluted.

So, ioffe, when I updated to 2.1 I got a wonderful email in my inbox with a little puzzle. I loved it. I expected to get more. Perhaps daily, or even monthly. But, so far, nothing. Is there plans to send more? More often?
I checked caissa.us and it said there was a Database. Where is that? Can we download more puzzles like the one you emailed? Or what are your plans exactly?
