Hi,
I am one of those people who always feel the need to get the newest computer when apple releases it...(justified because i give my old one to a different family member each time, lol). Anyway I was wondering if you could tell me which configuration is better between the macbook pro and the macbook....like, which one would be overall faster for running itunes, video encoding, word processing, internet and running adobe CS3:

Macbook Pro:
2.2 ghz
2 gb ram
160gb @ 7200

Macbook:
2.16 ghz
2gb ram
160 @ 5400

Basically, is there a big difference when hard drive rpm is increased and is there a big difference between 2.2 and 2.16 ghz?
Thanks

The MacBook Pro will be faster, but more expensive. The drive speed will definitely help, as will the CPU speed and GPU in the Pro. If you can afford it, go for the Pro.

Like stated, yes, the MBP pro will be faster...doesn't sound like money is an issue when you buy every new release, and give the old one away! Did you really need to ask?
