Don't know about your arguments, but Procreate gets in my way because of it's numereous brush styles, layer options and what not. Easy to get lost in all those settings and not even get to the actual drawing. I prefer 53's Paper above Procreate because of it's simplicity and directness. I seem to open the app and start being creative, just like that.Medibang paint is the only app comparable the something pro like clip studio that I've found. Art rage is nice too. Pro create gets in the way too much for me. Not sure why everyone loves it so much. My Instagram is basically all medibang paint. @Themikeroberts
ya, paper is great. My issues with procreate are that it tries to do too much. It feels like it's trying to make a pretty line for you - which is what makes it feel very pro-sumer - and ironically NOTES does it much better. Sketches 2 does the same thing. I'm sorta sticking with sketchbook pro and medibang and i'm very happy.Don't know about your arguments, but Procreate gets in my way because of it's numereous brush styles, layer options and what not. Of course, some depends on what it is you draw.
As an architect myself, I find Concepts a lot more useful for my kind of drawing.
Next, having no patience to polish my sketches, Paper by 53 is my favorite freehand drawing app.
Procreate has layers and brushes and what more, all of which distract me.
