Hi all,

I've been using the Etymotic hf3's for the past ~5 years as my main headphones. My third pair has now died and it seems like a good time to see if there's anything better out there.

I use headphones a lot for phone calls/skype calls etc, so a good microphone is a must. I listen to a lot of music and podcasts so good sound quality is important. I wear them a lot so comfort is important. And I wear them when exercising so something that won't fall out is important. I also want something that has buttons on the cord so i can answer calls, pause or skip songs and change the volume without pulling my phone out of my pocket. I'm not too concerned with budget so long as they're going to last a while.

Any recommendations?

Thanks! :)

I don't know about them lasting a while because the series 1 had horrible reliability but these seem to be built a lot better...but other than they seem to have everything you're looking for.

Aren't those in-ear, rather than earbuds??

I'm not sure what the difference is but I'm sure it's worth the OP's look.
