Can anyone recommend the best link bracelet for a 42mm Apple Watch?

Are there any out which have the push button links (like Apple's original), as opposed to pins which need to be removed with a tool?

Thanks.

I don't have this one since I ended up finding a used original one but these are supposed to be very similar to the original ones:

I second this band. I just received it from Amazon and the quality is amazing. Pretty cool to be able to just press a button to remove each link. Great weight to it as well.

Without a doubt the Apple Watch Band 42mm Silver,OULUOQI® Link Bracelet in the above link

It is the only Gen 5 band that is almost identical to Apples original
I have it in Black.
There is no silver showing between the links, critical on black
Links are tightly spaced but still bend and conform to small wrists without links sticking
Links (six on each side) are removable without tools just like Apples band.
Some other Gen 4 and Gen 3 bands need a special tool to remove links
Not a big deal but there will be small holes in the links on each side for the pins.

Others use flimsy spring pins just like the ones that are used to attach watchbands to other watch cases
When those let go the watch crashes to the floor.
Having four or so of these types of pins on each side of the band is not very comforting.

The black finish is Not Space Gray but still looks good on either the stainless black or aluminum watch.

Not Jet Black but a little more polish than a matte finish.

There is a special right now where you can bundle it with a OULUOQI-Milanese-Magnetic-Closure
and save and additional $5

...typical - they don't ship to the UK unfortunately.
:(
There are some OULUOQI link bands on eBay that have shipping to the UK. You can search amazon uk or eBay uk for a 1:1 link bracelet and you should get one that is pretty similar too. The 1:1 is supposed to be a reproduction of apple's original link bracelet and it should have the quick release buttons on the back just like the apple one. I'm not sure if you plan to get black or silver but some of the black non OULUOQI black 1:1 bands you can see silver in-between the black links where this OULUOQI one isn't supposed to show any silver through the black links.

As a Sport Black owner, I cannot find a link bracelet with the same black... any suggestion?

I just ordered the OULUOQI black link bracelet from ebay. Item is in US, shipping should take 2 weeks to AUS. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOO ME!

How do the lugs fit into the watch on these? I find a lot of third party/knock-off bands are either too wide or too narrow and don't sit flush (like my milanese band).

Lugs are flush as long as you match a 38 with a 38 and a 42 with a 42

Apple bumped up my ship date from 9/21 to 9/20 so I'll size it with a Series 2 and report back

CEX have grade b link bracelets for £125 now. If i were you I would give them a try and see if you get a good one. The return process is very easy if you are not happy. Just take it to a store for a refund.

Wow looks great.. I might jump on this if Apple ever decides we should have Series 2 here in Denmark (Launched September 16th but all stores say they get them around start November !!)

Based on this thread and some positive YouTube reviews, I went ahead and bought an OULUOQI black link bracelet.

Overall, it's a slam dunk - I like it a lot. Is it the pinnacle of manufacturing perfection like Apple's is? No, but it's a damn close approximation. It's basically 90% of the look and feel for ~15% of the price.

The biggest question I have that remains to be answered is how well this will hold up to scratches. Obviously, this doesn't have Apple's incredible "Diamond-Like Coating", so we'll have to see.

In the meantime, I'll enjoy my Vaderband.

Any questions, let me know...

I can say that some actually does hold up pretty damn well (again - maybe not like the Apple version, but damn close!)

My old MoKo never really got any scratches through over 7 months usage

.....wow - that looks awesome!!!

On amazon, they have it for £69.99, which is still a hell of a lot cheaper than Apple's original!!

However, now that I have also come across this ceramic bracelet, also on Amazon, I'm now torn between the 2:

Dumb question but does this one pull the hair on your arm? I bought a way cheap one and it hurt like hell constantly

I ended up purchasing this and using it on a Series 1 Aluminum Watch that I returned when my Stainless Steel Silver Series 2 Arrived. When wearing it on the first day, one of the links broke. It also fit the Aluminum casing very "loosely" as it was able to wiggle back and forth.

When the Stainless Steel Series 2 came in, I was excited to try this band on it. One side was VERY TIGHT and the other side was very loose. So loose that it wiggled a lot.

Not sure if there is a difference between a Series 1 and Series 2 Stainless Steel and if I may have just gotten a bad watch band from OULUOQI. Currently waiting for their customer service to email me back with what to do.

Ever get a reply from OULUOQI?

I ended up buying a JeTech which was terrible and got returned to amazon straight away, and bought a MoKo at the same time (Had a MoKo in black for my old 1st gen Space black)

This link bracelet is just awesome! It doesn't have the apple length adjustment system but it takes two minutes to adjust it in the beginning and now it's just fantastic. Awesome quality and feel
