Hey people, what would you say the best fitness apps are for the ipod touch? I really like what I'm reading about apps like B.icycle, but they rely on the iphone gps... Are there any out there that you recommend for the ipod touch?

iFitness is easily the best fitness app in my opinion. It is a wealth of information and you can log your workouts. They are constantly adding new exercises and tutorial videos and updating this app as well. It's definitely worth $1.99 and there is a reason that it is the #1 paid app in the health & fitness category in the app store.

If you're looking for an app that will track distances, speeds, etc. for workouts such as jogging, cycling, & hiking, I think you'll have a tough time finding a good app that can do those things without the GPS.

Nike+ can track certain variables to a point, so maybe that would be worth looking at? The receiver needed to use it with the iPod touch is pretty cheap, so it's a good purchase imho. :)
