Looking for a slick flight tracker app for my iPhone 13. Easy to use. Preferably to endless subscription. But I don't mind to pay a buck or two for a good experience, especially without ads. I don't want to become a member for some website etc. I just want to add my departure and arrival flights and get updates for delays, terminal updates etc.

I get like 100 results in the App Store so just trying to know if any of them are recommended :)

I use Flight Tracker Pro. Flightradar24 is also good.

How to track flights on iPhone using Messages

  1. Find the flight number
  2. Send or receive a text including the flight number in Messages
  3. Tap on the flight number in the sent text
  4. Select Preview Flight
  5. Check the flight's details, timings and baggage information

Airline pilot here...

I use Flighty as my primary app to keep track of flights (puts it on the calendar, excellent notification system, and works great with apple Watch)

For gee whiz tracking of flights, I think FlightRadar24 is the most robust tracker. I use it especially before pushback to see how big the line is to the runway because it utilizes ADS-B data.
