best gamepad for Mac Mini

I purchased a mac mini about 3 months ago and can not find a gamepad that works! Can anyone help me please? I am also looking to purchase games for my 8 year old son if someone can tell me the best site. Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas

Most any USB gamepad should work. Keep in mind that the large majority of computer games are not made for gamepads and have no support for them. Good sites for buying games are macgamestore.com, amazon.com, and gogamer.com.
