Right now I've been playing a lot of Plants vs Zombies at on my wifes iPad. I was thinking Mac App is Mac App, but it seems like purchasing it on iPad is different than a purchase for your Mac laptop/desktop via the MacApp store with a substantially higher price. Regardless, it's surprisingly enjoyable! I'm also thinking about Angry Birds! :)

What has grabbed you?

The best I've purchased are Braid, and A Monster Ate My Homework (don't know why, but I like this game). Also bought Trine, but have hardly played it.

I like the look of mini ninjas, will try that next.

i dont bother with the mac app store for games just for other software.

The Mac App Store includes a free version of Angry Birds with advertisements. However it only looks like you can have 1 player in the free game. I'm trying to figure out if the $4.99 includes saved progress for more than one player- anyone know? Thanks!

I would like to get Rome: Total War in the near future.

Bioshock too (but it's way overpriced)

That has been a problem with Mac games for a long time. Not that that they cost more than their PC versions, but that their prices remain inflated long after they are released. However, I understand how some gamers are willing to pay more to stay Mac native. KOTOR is a good example. The Mac version is twice as much as the PC version ($20 vs $10).

And Yet It Moves is a really interesting game.

Another similar game (as far as navigating environmental obstacles) that would be absolutely perfect as an iPad App would be Limbo currently an xbox 360 title, but I don't believe there are any plans to port it anywhere else. :(

After toying with the demo, I've cooled off towards Angry Birds. There just not seem to be enough there to keep me occupied.
