Best Gmail client for iOS 7 (that handles aliases well)?

I've been a die-hard Sparrow user. But now that iOS 7 is here, and Sparrow will never be updated for it, I'm looking for alternatives. (Also, Sparrow never had an iPad version.)

One thing that Sparrow did that no other iOS 7 Gmail client does (that I know of, at least), is automatically replies from the Gmail alias the email is sent to.

I forward mail from several different accounts to my Gmail account, and then I've set up Gmail to send mail from those accounts on Gmail's web. With Sparrow, when someone sends an email to example@account1.com, and I reply to that email, the from address will be "example@account1.com" instead of my Gmail address.

All of the other Gmail clients I've tried (Evomail, Mail.app, etc.) reply from my Gmail address by default no matter what address the email was sent to. They allow me to select the "example@account1.com" address manually, but it's not selected by default.

I can't remember whether Mailbox does this, but I can't use Mailbox anyhow because it doesn't allow me to use my own Gmail labels. That's a dealbreaker.

Any ideas?

I use the gmail app and it can do this. All of my work email is forwarded to my gmail account, and I can repspond from my work email address.

Now it does sound like you have more than one account you want to be able t respond from, which I can't speak about. Perhaps someone else can?

edit: after looking in the settings I believe you can set it up for multiple email addresses, as there is a setting to set the response address as the one it was sent to.

Really? When I use the Gmail app, and someone sends to "example@account1.com", the reply comes from my Gmail address. Was there some setting you had to enable?

My beef with Google's GMail app is that doesn't really have offline support. It seems like just a fancy wrapper for their web client. If I'm underground on the train, I can't read emails, even if the notification of a new message came through while I still had service.

Yes, the lack of offline support is an issue for me as well with Gmail app.

However, Gmail.app is doing exactly what I said I wanted above. Not sure why I thought it wasn't.

Ah, well. Problem solved. Now we just need offline support.

It's strange that you are still using sparrow, while there are excellent mail apps are available in market. These mail apps available Here: http://www.heavy.com/tech/2013/07/top-best-email-apps-for-iphone-2013/ and here: http://techzend.com/best-email-client-apps-ios/ are according to 2013 and 2014, i am using cloudmagic and mymail, and both are awesome, you should try these apps, these apps will force your to forget sparrows and crows.
