hey guys. Just wondering what exists (if anything does) like google earth.

I mainly want the maps with wikipedia entries/photos/dining all in one so I can just be found with gps and then see wikipedia and interesti g stuff around me.

Does that exist?

Thanks in advance!

i think instaMapper might be what you're looking for. i have it installed but haven't tried it yet though.

edit: nevermind you want literally what google earth does. loopT "kind" of does that but is more of a social networking tool. same with whirl. they show where you are and around it shows like yelp restaurant reviews. no wiki entries though. yellowpages/nearby i think shows stuff around you too but it's been awhile since i've used those apps.

as far as i can tell, instaMapper just figures out where you are and posts it up online to a blog etc. nothing really like google earth in terms of things around you.

I will check them out. A shame there is nothing like that yet. I found wikime but don't like it at all.
