Good morning guys

I am looking for the best quality/price GPU option for my Mac Pro early 2009.
The idea is to have a good GPU for video editing and games.
I'm going after to install windows with bootcamp, so i will need to have a way to change the boot disk (from mac to windows and opposite) without the boot load (what i saw in my research is that the best options don't have it).

As you can see in the picture that i left in the end, i already upgraded the CPU and updated the firmware to 5.1.

I am a sound engineer and music producer and now the maximum i can go in terms of the osx is the High Sierra, because mojave and catalina still have a lot of conflicts with some very old plugins that i have.

I know that you guys have another prosts with this questions too but in some of them i see completely different answers and i have a lot of work and important clients where i can't stop more than 2 days to do this.
So it has to be a thing that will work for sure for my computer.

Thank you so much in advance for all your help.
This forum has been the biggest help for me since i bought my first mac.

I leave you the print with my pc info.

I have an RX580 8GB in my 2010 which is effectively a beefed up 2009. I'm running Sierra which is a step down from your High Sierra should you go with it.
I've been running the MSI Armor 8GB for about 1 1/2 years now without any conflicts from any software.

I have sierra now.
What i did read online is that the rx580 doesn't work without high sierra and proper drivers.

Yea sorry, edited the previous post a little. I have not read that personally and I have not tried any higher installations beyond Sierra so I cannot comment on that.
Sorry.

Ok and how did you install it?
Did you use any driver ?
Because if i can i would prefer to stay in this Sierra version that is the same as yours.

I had to buy a 6 Pin to 8 pin adapter like this to get it to work. Outside of that, it was completely plug and play.

Check your card's pins though before buying the cable.
