Hi guys,

I got a mac pro thats been upgraded from a 4.1 to 5.1 with a stock Nvidia GT 120.

I'm looking to upgrade the graphics card and it will be mainly used for Photoshop so don't need a beast for 3d rendering or video. However, I can imagine the graphics card will be used more and more with Photoshop CC updates so looking for something to last for the next few years.

What would be your recommendations?

Many thanks

Well, I'm running a 2009 4,1 to 5,1 and have been using a GTX970 and loving it. The one I bought uses only the 2X6 pins for power and runs great. No boot screen though, but worth it for me. Specs in sig.

I'd second the 970. Massive bang for the buck.
