I'm looking for recommendations on a home maintenance log app. I've searched on itunes but nothing seems that great.

A few basic features I'm looking for:
* stable app with no loss of data
* be able to add my own maintenance tasks
* task shows frequency, last completed date, next schedule date
* task notes
* list of upcoming tasks by month, showing last completion date and next schedule date
* calendar view of tasks
* email reminders and alert notifications/badges
* warranty info with expiration date reminders
* no subscription fee

I'd be surprised if you found a dedicated home maintenance log app with those robust capabilities as a otp. Fieldwire's Construction Manager may be able to do it, but it is $500 a year.

You may want to consider using a business app. If I wanted to do what you listed there I'd personally use a task manager like Things for a lot of it, then a notebook like OneNote to put scans/photos/notes of actual documents and jobs in a virtual 3-ring binder type notebook. Can't remember if Onenote is subscription based, but there are other notebook type apps that are otp.

Thanks. I'm checking out a couple that are close to what I was looking for:
Home Car Reminder - very basic; does not show last date on list; free
Upkeep Tasks - fairly robust; nice looking; requires pay to do custom tasks; not subscription
