Hi all,

I know there are several other posts about hardware unlocking, but nothing definitive as to what works and what doesn't.

In terms of the types out there, Rebel, Turbo and Gevey, what generally works the best???

Also, which is slimmest and least likely to cause problems removing the sim card tray again?!

I need to unlock my 3G iPhone on 2.2.1, 02.30.03 - needs to be done so I can't have commments of "wait for the Yellowsn0w update" etc.

Need some facts on what is best for the money!

Thanks

Andy

I've been trying a rebel sim on the T-Mobile, UK network.

My phone is an AT&T locked U.S. iPhone running 2.21 on the latest baseband, so no yell0wsnow for me yet.

The rebel sim sort of worked for a few days... Sometimes getting a signal and allowing calls out and data in both directions. However calls in were mostly were routed to voicemail.

Then at times it would stop receiving a signal all together and I had to swap the sim into another phone. I found it to be too unreliable for daily use.

Then after four days it stopped working altogether.

Maybe I was sold a bad rebel sim, who knows, but it has been a constant headache from day one.

I'm looking to try my luck with another turbo sim, maybe the latest gevey sim.

Anyone else have suggestions on the best turbo sim?

Trusted and tested, Turbo SIM, other sellers may be scams.
