Looking to find the best tweak to download files, etc. for Google Chrome web browser. What is considered the best these days?

I use Chrome Download Manager on my iPad. It's a bit spendy at $5 but it works very well.

Also FYI, Dolphin browser from the App Store has a download manager built in.

Just curious, what do you use it to download? was considering it, but not sure how much I would use it..

I use it mostly as an easy and convenient way to download .pdf and MS Office files. But If you don't think you'll use it much, try Dolphin from the App Store. I believe it's free. Had I known about Dolphin before I bought Chrome Download Manager I would have just used that.

I use dolphin almost daily to download files for work. It's free. It's a stellar browser too! Only thing is, dolphin has to be an active app to complete downloads. It won't download in the background.

Does Dolphin do the exact same thing? in regards to downloading any file I want? or are there restrictions?

No restrictions that I have come across. Just tap and hold the link and a menu will appear. Tap "Save Link" and it will download just like with Chrome Download Manager.
