Best iOS games without online access

Hey guys.. does anyone have good recommendations for iOS games that don't require you to be online? Paid or free is fine.

I really liked Motorsport Manager, or Monument Valley.. anything you can get lost in for a few hours and not realize the time has past. I was looking at guitar hero but the reviews are horrible. Thanks for any suggestions!

Most app nowadays need data constantly so won't work when you are offline.
There are some great apps that work fine without online access e.g.:
- Reckless Racing (1,2)
- Getaway (racing)
- Sudoku
- AngryBirds (various versions are out there)
- Ragdoll Blaster (1,2,3)
- Warfare Inc. (C&C like)
- Z Steel Soldier (C&C like)
- Machines at War 3 RTS (C&C like)
- Land Air Sea Warfare (HD) (C&C like)
- MechCom 2 – 3D RTS (C&C like)
- PunchKidd (Alex the Kidd clone)
