My young grandkids have Oberon cases for their minis. Have been drooped/thrown a number of times and no damage to the minis. While pricey for 5 and 9 yr olds they have protected the minis from all sorts of disaster. They also each picked their design and color and tend to take better care of them because they are personalized to each child. I have included a link to their iPad mini cases.
