iPhone Best iPhone app to have/use a 2nd phone number? Paid is OK.

I'm looking to download an app (if it costs money, that's ok) where I can have and use a second number. Kind of like a Google number but more like an iPhone on an app on my iPhone. Where I can text or call. Is there something like that? Is there an exceptionally good one, even if it costs money up front or ongoing...?

If anyone has experience with something like this, I'd love some suggestions. It's a number I'd keep for an ongoing project, to keep separate from my personal phone number without having a second phone.

13 Pro Max. I always have the biggest, latest available since I use it so much for work.

It is not a app but try a esim. It can be really cheap. Do you want text, calling, and data for the number ?

I eventually went back to iPhone and have the e-sim activated as well as a physical sim. It works well and is easy to manage.
