I keep hearing good things about Jailbreakin' the iPhone. My friend recently did it with ZiPhone and feels like he got a whole new phone. I think I'm ready to give in after 9 months with the phone. Wanted to get opinions on who has used what, and what exactly is out there.

iLiberty+ is better as it gives you a changeable bootloader.

If your iPhone is nine months old, it doesn't have BL4.6, and this issue is irrelevant. I used ZiPhone on mine (which had BL 3.9 to begin with), and I was very happy with it. The others seem fine also, though. Some people are complaining that there are issues with the latest ZiPhone (3.0), though, so you might want to use 2.6b...

I used iLiberty+ to Jailbreak/Activate/Unlock my co-workers iPhone (1.1.2) today. The Jailbreak/Activate was successful, but phone functionality did not work. So, I re-locked (using ZiPhone 2.6b) then did a restore to 1.1.4. I then did "Do it all" using ZiPhone 2.6b and everything worked! Not sure why iLiberty+ was not sucessful with the unlock.

I used Ziphone on mine because it was a week 30 phone that already has the 3.9BL, it worked great!

I used iLiberty+ on my friends two phone, and neither of them will save settings, very frustrating for a program that was supposed to be so much better than Ziphone.
