So I've been on a spending spree preparing for the arrival of my new 17" MBP and have yet to buy a laptop stand. I've got the budget to buy pretty much anything so what do you guys recommend???:D

Another vote for the mStand
I am very happy with mine

The M-Stand was already at the top of my list.. :D

Anything else worth considering?

I use the Griffin iCurve Elevator thingy... I am very happy with it and think that it is cheaper than the mstand. Like the mstand it fits perfectly...

I'll go with the the Griffin model. It is durable. I've been using it on my late 2007 MacBook Pro and it still doing its job today. Never dropped my MacBook because of it. It also doesn't cost that much. Only 39.99 if I'm not mistaken.

The mstand is definitely the way to go. I picked one up while at Macworld this year for my Unibody MBP because my Griffin Elevator wasn't sturdy enough for my taste.

I think I'm pretty much sold on the mstand. Thanks for the input everyone.. :D

I only have a 13" MacBook, but I've been using the Griffin Elevator Stand (link) which sells for about $40 and I have nothing but good things to say about it. It isn't all that expensive, and disassembles real easily if you wanted to bring it somewhere.

There is a beautiful picture of the Mstand in action in this theard "Placing the macbook pro on a desk, bad design? "
