We’ve talked the CPU, GPU, and NPU specs.

We’ve bathed ourselves in graphs, and comparison charts, and pools of raw benchmark data.

In short - we’ve been putting in the work this past week here in the forums. We’ve all been getting our reps in.

Now the fun part begins.

I just finished an M4-Mac Day-1 walkthrough at the local Apple you-know-where.

So I’ll drop a couple notes to start.

First - the Nano Texture coating on the 14” MBP display is amaaaaaazing. So much easier to look at than the reflection-y glossy cluster-mess I formally loved. Whoa!

Second - Jony Ive… who even misses you brah? The new Mini-Mini enclosure, and the subtle shift in the M4 iMac hues are niiiiice.

Now I want those desktop Macs too. They make perfect visual sense IRL. Sorry J-Ive… but you kinda just got dunked on…

Was not expecting that.

I’m still in a daze 😛

I can still remember when the glossy display was the non-standard build-to-order option. Now we can pay for a non-reflective display. Great.

People forgot that Jony Ive was a thing when Steve Jobs was alive, only together something worked. When Steve was gone, Jony was putting everything in design over function
