I'm going to Leave my Geforce 7300 GT in my Mac Pro 1,1 and I was planning on going with a HD 6870, but then I started to realize I really don't care much about gaming on my rig but rather just looking for a GPU to to push two (maybe even 3) displays. I know just about any GPU anymore can do that, but I'd rather get one that can do it well and do some gaming (Eventually I will pick up Diablo 3, but even then the graphics doesn't need to be set to high).
Like I said, previously I had planned to pick up a 6870, but that might be a bit over kill, so what else is there?
What I want it to do:
1. Run a game on one screen.
2. Second Screen run OSX for iTunes, Web application development/web browser/Sequel Pro/etc.
3. Run my Virtual Machines on the third display via VMWare- This could be run on the 7300 GT if need be, but I would rather the 7300 only be used when I need to access boot screens.
