Hi guys. What is your favorite sw to manage your window workspace. I used to use moom a while back but don't know if it's still good. I run my 15in MBPro and 2 27in Apple monitors. Need to keep email, chat, development ide and remote desktop windows better managed.

Thoughts?????

There are many options... but I'm happy with Moom... been running Moom for close to 10 years now...

I am looking for Windows management that can handle moving Windows from a full screen setup to standard based on whether another monitor is connected.
- When running standalone most of my apps are full screen and tiled full screen
- When connected to a large desktop monitor I have them as windows over several space.

now I’m looking. I’ve tried loads but none seems to be able to save and load workspaces for me. Perhaps I should use shortcuts. I want to be able to instantly restore a state or switch to another profile (quit apps etc).

It should be able to open an application, create a new space and put it there.

There is no app that what you want, because you're looking at Window managers to do workspace management. You're on the right track though, scripting is going to be your only option. You could then set the script to execute with a keyboard shortcut, etc.
