Any suggestions? Best manila envelope size or maybe something else. I'd like to hear what others may suggest that works well for the 11.6. Just something plain, simple and protects from minor scratches.

I use bubble wrap and a manila envelope. It's safe n snug. That goes in a backpack.

On my old MBA I used UPS envelopes inside a laptop bag. The bubble wrap on those is built-in.

Uline Glamour Bubble Mailer

Just bought 5 of them for 10 bucks shipped on Ebay... If you are near Boston, you can have one once they come in... Will update you on their quality, but they look great online...

Interesting ... wonder if it would survive the mail well enough to California. Let me know how it works out for you.

I added a wedge of foam to the bottom; this is a German A4 size.

That's very nice barmann. I ended up going to Staples and buying a white bubble wrap envelope. Folded one edge over, added duct tape, trimmed off one end and have a usable custom fit sleeve for now.

I'll wait and see what other sleeves come out later but I like the look of your sleeve. Nice idea with the foam bottom.
