My goal is to have my data reachable from almost everywhere. The macmini should be a NAS server, but also a mail server and a calendar server. :)
I already have a Pegasus R4 so it doesn't matter the dimension of the internal HDD. ;)
The goal is to have maximum stability, so the SSD disk or the raid could be very good.
Also the price is important, I'm experiencing that none of my internal drives have died (since now). I have an iMac always on since 4 years with no issue up today.
I don't think adding RAM could be very important for my business. :)
Osx server can be installed at very cheap price also on mac mini standard.
My little table:
Mac mini standard +2Gb RAM +750 GB HDD +leopard server: 749$
Mac mini server: 999$
Mac mini server +SSD (256) 1399$
What's your opinion? Thank you guys! :D
