What do you think the best Mac for use as a media center is?

Here are the 4 "competitors"-

Mac Mini G4-
This Mac is an extremely small desktop computer, and prices for it are low (I have seen prices of around $300 on Ebay.)The downside to this mac is the 1GB memory limit.

Mac Mini Intel Core 2 Duo-
This mac is like the other Mac Mini, but it is a lot more advanced and can run windows, also the memory limit is higher and uses faster RAM.

PowerMac G5-

This computer is older, but is extremely expandable, especially the Dual-Core models. It has PCI, PCI-X, or newer PCI Express slots and can be upgraded to 4,8, or 16GB of RAM. The hard drive can be swapped out and there are 2 hard drive slots. The downsides to this Mac are that it is very heavy and bulky, the later models have liquid cooling, and all of the models use enormous amounts of power.

PowerBook G4 12"-

This laptop is very suitable for a media center and is portable. It has a very small form factor, and is still useable even today.
The downsides are that it only has 1 video output port, the Mini-DVI port, and it has a maximum of 1.25GB of RAM.

Feel free to add other Macs to this list, and vote in the poll. You don't have to have the macs that I am talking about, but if you use any mac as a media center (hooked up to your TV), tell me how well it works. :)

Idk what Plex is, but I use my iPod Touch as the Wi-fi Remote.

Plex
Plex bridges the gap between your Mac and your home theater, doing so with a visually appealing user interface that provides instant access to your media. Plex can play a wide range of video, audio and photo formats as well as online streaming audio and video. The real power of Plex is found in its library features: Organize your media into versatile libraries, automatically retrieve metadata from the Internet, and display your libraries using one of the visually stunning skins.

Go with the new Mac Mini, max out the ram and your good to go...I'm not a Plex fan at all...tried it but I can't watch my Itunes movies...I know you can go to the Frontrow app...but to me it wasn't worth it...I run Front Row with Boxee Plugin and DVDpedia plugin...it's all sweet
